The Money Pit.
I still haven't spent
that much money on the car. There have been things that everyone should just do if they buy something second hand (like wheel alignments, all-fluid flush & change etc). Then there are things that can't be put off (for too long), like having a faulty seat belt replaced. That's done, by the way.
Then there are problems that come up as a result of wear and tear. The driver's side window got stuck down. It wasn't
that funny, driving at 70mph, feeling like you bobsledding across an Antarctic tundra. And it was a bit chilly after dark.
I took it to the shop. They called back and told me it would be $350. To replace the motor, and for labour.
What choice did I have?
I've decided I don't particularly like the chaps at the garage. They are a little bit too slick, and the car is never ready when they say it will be, and somehow, they always manage to charge me just a little bit more than I had agreed to on the phone.
At least I'm in warmer weather now.

C90
My new best friend in the whole word, the Reverend Dan Catt, has put together a ROCK TAPE for my car.
Now all I have to do is re-wire everything (driver's side window is stuck down, auto-lock doesn't work on the passenger door, and the "stereo" is flaky) and then I can turn it up!
Thanks Dan!
